Download the client
Everything you need to join the test: the game client and the first steps.
To check the file, compare the SHA-256 above with the result of this PowerShell command in the download folder: Get-FileHash Veritera.zip
Install the client
- Unpack Veritera.zip into any folder, for example Desktop\Veritera (do not run it from inside the zip).
- Start veritera_gl.exe. If the window stays black or the graphics look broken, use veritera_dx.exe instead (DirectX).
- Windows may show "Windows protected your PC" because the client is not signed: click "More info" and then "Run anyway".
- The client updates itself on every start - you never need to download it again unless it asks you to.
First steps
- Create an account on this website with your e-mail and a password. Your account number is shown right after that - write it down. Create account
- Confirm your e-mail with the link we send you (check the spam folder too). Without it, password reset does not work.
- On your account page create your character (name and sex): Create character
- Download and start the client, log in with your account number and password, choose your character and press Enter.
- You can create more characters on the website at any time.
